This month I am walking 150 kms to raise funds for mental health - specifically for the Black Dog Institutes One Foot Forward charity event. This helps raise funds to help the 1 in 5 of us who experience mental illness every year, and to help prevent the 8 Australians who die from suicide every day. Helping young people overcome sleep difficulties to prevent depression and anxiety.
Inform
Preparing our community presenters to talk about mental health and where to find support to reach schools and communities.
Educate
Training teachers to support students struggling with anxiety in schools to help reduce the impact of mental illness.
Support Supporting research, running clinical trials and developing policy recommendations to reform mental health services.
