Hi, I'm Andrea
I’m a deep thinker who loves a good conversation. I find joy in beauty and order—organising spaces, painting, creating calm and function where there’s been chaos. I recharge in nature, with books, movies, documentaries, dog cuddles, travel, naps, and shared meals and good conversations with the people I love.

My main focus is about empowering and supporting women to reconnect with who they truly are—whether that means rebuilding self-trust, navigating change, or creating a life that feels more aligned and meaningful. Together, we focus on what matters most to you, as you rediscover your own strength, confidence, and sense of joy.
I bring not just professional training to my work as a counsellor, but also real, lived experience. I know what it’s like to feel overwhelmed, stuck, alone and unsure where to turn. Over the years I’ve navigated my own mental health challenges, trauma and life transitions, including divorce, surviving abusive relationships, single parenting, relearning to trust (myself and others), and the beautiful chaos of blended family life. I live with the ongoing realities of chronic pain, anxiety and OCD and understand how important it is to be truly seen, heard and validated. Each of these experiences has shaped who I am and how I support and connect with others.
I hold a Diploma in Counselling and have completed further training in trauma and abuse counselling, DFV, mindfulness, suicide prevention, and conflict resolution. My approach is person-centred, solution-focused, compassionate, and strengths-based, drawing from Cognitive Based Therapy CBT and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy ACT techniques.
I believe that humour, honesty, and heart can go a long way in our healing.
How I work with you
Sometimes the most healing conversations happen while walking side by side, breathing in fresh air, or sitting under a tree with the sounds of nature around us.
My Walk & Talk (or sit in nature) sessions offer a gentle, grounded way to connect—especially if you find it easier to open up while moving or being outside. Nature has a way of holding space for us without pressure.
For others, it might feel more comforting to sit with a warm drink in hand, like a chat with a trusted friend. That relaxed, heart-centred approach is at the core of how I work.
I’m here to walk alongside you (literally or metaphorically), offering a space that feels safe, supportive, and real.
Whether we’re out walking, sitting in a park, or connecting online from your favourite cosy corner, my goal is to meet you where you’re at—without judgement, and always with compassion.

What's the greatest lesson a woman should learn?

That since day one, she's already had everything she needs within herself. It's the world that convinced her she did not."

More about me
My path to counselling hasn’t been linear. I’ve worked in mental health, research, customer service, design, retail, and as a small business owner. I’ve returned to study as an adult, juggled motherhood, moved and set up more homes than I can count (over 30!), sold my house, downsized my life, and built new chapters from scratch—again and again.

I understand the fear of opening yourself up, and the courage it takes to sit in a counselling session. I’ve been the person on the 'couch', doing the work. That’s why I meet every client with respect, compassion, and zero judgment.

My approach is grounded, compassionate, and sincere!
