Gary Bunker

I was born in the UK and moved to Australia when I was 18 - originally for a holiday but then loving it here so much I decided to stay. I'm a family man with five children, one wife, and one dog (who's more trouble than the rest combined).

I spent a large part of my life learning how to design complex software and researching how that software can make people's lives easier. That has meant thousands of sessions sitting with people, listening to them talk about their lives and trying to find ways to make those lives better - at least in terms of the technology they use.

But after a personal family crisis, I decided I needed to help people more directly and have trained to become a counsellor in order to do so. I have a Diploma of Counselling from the Australian Institute of Professional Counsellors and am a Level 1 member of the Australian Counselling Association.
